Description
This course will focus on the basics of parliamentary procedure for Indian tribes. Tribes typically utilize a form of Robert’s Rules of Order in carrying out Tribal Council and other official meetings. Upon completion, attendees will have an understanding of:
- The basics of parliamentary procedure and modern governance
- Options for Tribal Council meetings
- Practical application – hands on examples of utilizing formal parliamentary procedure
