Description
This course will focus on various challenges and opportunities for tribes involved in agriculture, whether through tribal government and administration of agricultural leases and regulation, developing tribal codes and regulation, or as producers. Upon completion, attendees will have an understanding of:
- Opportunities for Tribes in agriculture
- Overview of agriculture leasing
- Tribes as producers
- Development of Tribal codes and regulations
